Cognitive Reassembly is a series of handbuilt ceramic sculptures created over the course of a year and first exhibited at Hera Gallery as part of Curious Intervals in March 2024. The work emerged from a period of intentional return and re-claiming of my art practice and re-centering my identity as an artist. The title speaks to a slow rebuilding of perception and self, a rewiring of how I move through the world when creative work is given priority. Each piece carries the charge of that shift: the quiet joy, the mental electricity, the sense of alignment that occurs when making becomes central rather than peripheral. Rendered in my signature organic handbuilt style and finished in bright, bold color atop solid bases, the sculptures mark the reawakening of a dormant part of the self that is activated, luminous, and alive.
